Hi! I am Ashley.

I’ve always loved to draw, paint, and take pictures. And when I was growing up, there was nothing better than doing make-up and hair.

So it seemed like a career in the visual arts was a no-brainer, right?

Well… it wasn’t that easy. I faced a dilemma. Should I join my family in their decades-old restaurant business or follow my creative dreams?

I realized that if I didn’t love my career, I’d never be genuinely happy. So to balance practicality and art, I attended beauty school in New York, while I majored in business at college.

Since then, I’ve learned that getting the best out of myself (and my clients) requires real passion, and a taste for the little details that keep life exciting.

Luckily, photography keeps me excited AND passionate at the same time! Every day is a new day, and each one of you is truly unique, buzzing with special little features that are ready to be broadcast to the world!

To me, the all-too-short moments we share with others are worth preserving. And to capture a sliver of time in vivid detail and highlight the joy of a season makes every photo session a true joy.

Everyone tells me my intuition is amazing, with a natural ability for capturing the emotional import of a moment, while creating a beautifully composed picture…

That’s because I genuinely care about you and what you want.

These days, Indigo Moments is bigger than just me. I have built a team of photographers who each bring more than ten years of experience and the same care for people that started all of this, so whoever photographs your day sees it the way I would. For weddings we often send two photographers, so nothing gets missed.

Also… Our photographers love children and have a gift for making them relax. 🙂
